Spring 2021 Update

Thank you for your continued support of International Christian High School. Your contributions and prayers have a lasting impact on the lives and opportunities of our students as well as the legacy of our school.

Throughout this spring students have continued to have the option to learn online or in-person. Our teachers have continued to do an amazing job at keeping the learning seamless across various platforms. As a result, students have been able to interact, learn, and work in group settings with each other to encourage social engagement and productivity within their classes.

Despite a unique school year that has required repeated flexibility, our desire has remained steadfast: continue offering our students a Christ-centered and academically- excellent experience. I’d like to share how one member of the ICHS class of 2021, Chassity, has not only grown in her faith, but has also developed a passion for a future career as a result of this environment.

Chassity started attending ICHS after a difficult year within the public school system. She struggled to express herself and fit in with those around her. ICHS was recommended to Chassity by a friend, and as soon as she heard about the school, she applied. Immediately upon beginning her time at ICHS, she noticed the smaller class size and how well all the students knew each other. While the environment was completely new, the thing that surprised her the most was how caring and intentional the teachers were towards her and her classmates. It was through the care and the unconditional help from the teachers that pushed Chassity to take hold of her opportunity to pursue further education in nursing.

In her previous school, Chassity experienced teachers that were not as intentional with their students and the classroom environment was not as motivating. When she transferred to ICHS, she saw the impact that being kind and caring has on a person. Chassity knew she wanted to have this same type of impact on others and she plans to do so through the field of nursing.

After graduation, Chassity plans to attend college locally for two years and before transferring out of state in order to finish her degree.
