Mrs.Melendez-Diaz was born in Camden, New Jersey and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from Eastern University with an Associate of Science in Business Administration. When she is not at ICHS, she is leading at her church in Girls Ministry, teaching high school girls.

Some fun facts about her is she loves coffee and candles. She is also a mother of seven (two biological and five bonus children) and a proud grandmother to her first grandchild!

“My favorite thing about ICHS is how faith is at the center of everything we do. Being able to pray, encourage and uplift others in a school setting makes it more than just a job, it’s a ministry.”

Mrs.Melendez-Diaz favorite verse is, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
