Mr.Hoagland grew up in Chiang Rai, Thailand. He graduated from Cairn University with a Bachelors in Health and Physical Education. A fun fact about him is that he can speak English, Thai and Dutch fluently! He also plays guitar, piano, bass, and can sing.

Mr.Hoagland would say a fun part of his job is he gets to workout with his students in PE and teach foundational knowledge about health in a cross-cultural classroom environment! He also enjoys building relationships with students through coaching soccer, basketball and volleyball.

Titus 3:4-6 is his favorite verse,

“But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.”
