Mr.Hoagland grew up in Chiang Rai, Thailand (northern). He graduated from Cairn University with a Bachelors in Health and Physical Education (K-12 Certification). A fun fact about him is that he can speak English, Thai and Dutch fluently! He also loves fruit – tropical, sweet, sour – all of them! His favorites are mango and passion fruit.

Mr.Hoagland would say the best part about working at ICHS is the discipleship opportunities with students. He is the assistant soccer coach for boys soccer and head coach for boys volleyball. “I love challenging and pushing students to new levels and to see how far they’ve come at the end of the season is always encouraging!”

Titus 3:4-6 is his favorite verse,

“But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.”
