Ms. Boyd
I was born and raised in California. I love to ride my longboard, hike, kayak, go on long walks with coffee and a friend. Anything outdoors. I started college at Vanguard University but left after the first semester and spent time learning Spanish in Costa Rica, then transfer to Eastern University for the other 3 years. I studied abroad a semester in Ecuador and spent a summer in Mexico working at an orphanage that I would visit when I was in high school. I love going back to Mexico whenever I can usually 2-3 times a year. I studied anthropology and missions in college and expected to be a missionary of sorts internationally, but in the mix of hanging around ICHS and playing basketball with these students fell in love and might stay a little longer than I imagined. I absolutely love working at ICHS because of the freedom to invest in the relationships with my students. I am passionate about discipleship and am filled as I get to know these kids and watch them grow as Jesus works in their lives.
