Precalculus

Mr. Mattner is a graduate of Temple University with a  bachelors in Music and Math Education.  He has been teaching for 43 years at Cedar Grove Christian Academy, now known as ICHS!  Mattner currently teaches Basic Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry and Pre-Calculus.  He also helps out with Chess club and is usually up for playing any strategic kind of game.  Mr. Mattner enjoys teaching at ICHS because of the calling received from God to work with children.  “It gives me the opportunity to give the gospel freely as well as help children grow in all aspects of life”.  Working with children is just one of Mr. Mattner’s many interests, he also enjoys playing piano, playing board games and watching mystery shows.  Looking ahead, Mr. Mattner seeks to be faithful to whatever God calls him to do, hopefully it involves a chess board!
