Mr.Hanselman is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Cairn University with a B.S. in Education and Biblical Studies, and La Salle University with a Masters in Education.

An after school club Mr.Hanselman runs with Mr.Mattner is the Chess Club. He would describe it as “you never lose, if you learn.” We welcome all players, both experienced and new to the board game of chess. We compete in the Penn Jersey league with local high schools, and have been ranked in the top 3 teams in the league for past 3 years consecutively. Come join us, and be ready to learn and have fun! 

Some fun facts about Mr.Hanselman is he loves ultimate frisbee, fall weather, and his three girls! He is obsessed with board games and currently has over 200 in his home that he regularly plays with family and friends. He enjoys sharing his passion for history, philosophy, and board games with anyone willing to learn, converse, and play!

Mr.Hanselman’s favorite verse is also the mission verse of ICHS:

Revelation 5:9, “And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.”
